Sarcelles is a French commune located in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region. An emblematic city of the Parisian suburbs, it saw the construction of one of the first large French housing estates from 1955 to 1970. In 2000, it became the sub-prefecture of the Val-d'Oise department.
