This token was included in the Royal Australian Mints Baby Mint six coin set, in the three years from 2018 to 2020.The idea was that you could get a baby's name and birth date engraved on the blank side of the token as a keepsake.
The "Possum Magic" theme is based on Mem Fox's series of children's books.
