Plouescat is a French commune in Brittany, located on the northern coast of the Finistère département (29). Its inhabitants are called Plouescatais and Plouescataise. The town lies to the west of the Pays du Léon bishopric. It is also a well-known seaside resort in the region, attracting many tourists.the 16th-century halles, unique in Finistère. This 300m² civil heritage building, restored in 2012, features a slate roof from the Monts d'Arrée region.
