Gerard Piqué Bernabéu, born February 2, 1987 in Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain), is a Spanish international footballer, considered one of the best defenders in the world. He joined FC Barcelona in 2008 as a central defender. He made his debut for the Spanish national team in 2009.
