Reverse
In the middle, are depicted three ancient coins; two of them, placed on the left, are the obverse and reverse of a Histrian Drachma, the third one depicts the obverse of a Roman coin from Emperor Hadrianus; the three coins are bordered by two laurel twigs; below, the National Bank of Romania's emblem; the inscriptions "4 MAI 1997" and "INAUGURAREA MUZEULUI BANCII NATIONALE" are circularly engraved.
