Georges-Henri Prud'Homme, born in Capbreton in 1873, and died in Paris in 1947, was a French sculptor and engraver-medal-maker. Georges-Henri Prud'Homme was admitted to the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where he studied sculpture under Alexandre Falguière and engraving under Alphée Dubois. The Monnaie de Paris catalog lists 55 medals designed by Prud'Homme. He also designed numerous postage stamps.
