Silver medal 1913. 100 years of the Battle of Leipzig. Awarded to regiments still existent that had partaken in the battle.Only 125 medals struck in silver.
Diakov writes that the heads are of Alexander I, William II of Prussia and Francis Joseph of Austria. This is totally incorrect as far as the Prussian king and Austrian emperor are concerned. Shown are the portraits of the monarchs of 1813, not of 1913.
