This medal is given free of charge when visiting the National Historical Museum of Mexico City located in the old town.
According to the couple of medals I got at the National Numismatic Museum of Mexico, there are medals of this type that weigh 4.3-4.4g and others that weigh 5.0-5.1g.
Pictures of the medal on this page were minted in June 2024, if when visiting the museum you see that they mint the same medal and give it to you as a courtesy in later years, do not hesitate to update the years of issue.
The medal was minted with the "La Bailarina" machine, a relic that still works and that was in operation between the 19th and 20th centuries at the Mexican mint and it receives this name because of the characteristic movement it performs when minting coins and medals.
