MDCCCXLII

Engraver: Carl Friedrich Voigt

Comment

The medal was presented by the medics of Moldavia to Lord Michael Stourdza on the occasion of reaching 21 000 people healed in the hospitals established during his rule.

The reverse of the medal is inspired by the Salus Augusti reverse of Roman imperial coinage.
