The Albrechtsburg Castle in Meissen
Lettering: ALBRECHTS BURG
Comment
The Albrechtsburg in Meissen is the first "Schloss" ever built in Germany. Here master builder Arnold von Westfalen realized innovative architectural elements such as arched curtain windows and impressive cell vaults. By decree of Augustus the Strong, the legendary Meissen Porcelain Manufactory was founded in Albrechtsburg Castle in 1710. Porcelain was produced here for more than 150 years.Price
