Comment
The Tour de la Madeleine de Jumet (a traditional annual march with brass band and drums in July) is a religious procession listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Legend has it that in 1380, a plague epidemic ravaged the region, sparing no one, not even the chatelaine de Heigne.
The hamlet's inhabitants organized a procession to ask heaven for a cure. As they crossed a field, a horseman announced that the chatelaine had been cured and that the disease had miraculously disappeared.
