La colonne de la déesse is a commemorative monument inaugurated on October 8, 1845, in the center of Lille's Grand'Place, today's Place du Général-de-Gaulle, in the French department of Nord in the Hauts-de-France region.
The monument, which commemorates the heroism of the people of Lille during the 1792 siege of Lille by the imperial army, consists of a column and a statue of a woman at the top.
Medal awarded to Mme Anne-Marie CARRIERE.
Anne-Marie Carrière was a French actress, humorist and songwriter, born on January 16, 1925 in Paris 14e and died on December 29, 2006 in Nanterre.
