L'Atlantique is a liner belonging to Compagnie de Navigation Sud-Atlantique and built at Ateliers et Chantiers de Penhoët.
The Atlantique entered service in 1930 on the West Indies and South America route. At 42,512 tons, she was the biggest liner on this route.

She made her first crossing at the end of September 1931, from Bordeaux to Rio de Janeiro (Source : www.wikipedia.org)
