Comment

George V was the grandson of Queen Victoria. He married his cousin (Princess Mary of Teck) in 1893 and was crowned in 1910 following the death of his father, Edward VII. The princess then became the well known Queen Mary. George V reached his Silver Jubilee in 1935 but died a few months later on 20 January 1936.
