Comment
After the assassination of Diego Silang on May 28, 1763, and the disestablishment of his independent state Free Ilocos, Gabriela Silang assumed commandership of the revolution against Spain. The event made her iconic, and she is now known as the first Filipina revolutionary leader. She is often dubbed the "The Joan of Arc of Ilocandia".Price
