Comment
Born in Ghyvelde, in the north of France in 1838, Father Frédéric was first a remarkable missionary to the Holy Land before coming to Trois-Rivières in Canada. Witness to the Wonder of the Eyes and co-founder of the Notre-Dame-du-Cap Sanctuary, he traveled preaching to the parishes of Quebec to make Jesus of Nazareth and the Holy Land known.
He was proclaimed Blessed in 1988. The Canadian Church is preparing his canonization.
Medal purchased at the Sanctuaire Notre-Dame-du-Cap Trois-Rivières, Quebec (Canada)
