A depiction of the White House with a slightly offset column and compass

Script: Latin

Lettering: THE WHITE HOUSE RESTORED 1902

Engraver: Don Everhart

Comment

Edith, wife to Theodore Roosevelt who was the 26th U.S. President (1901-1909), is known for her work in restoring the White House. The reverse of her bronze medal symbolizes that by depicting the White House with a slightly off-center column and compass.
