Depiction of the first mass in the Philippines happened at Limasawa, Southern Leyte (March 31, 1521). The mass was conducted by the priest Pedro de Valderrama from Magellan's expedition crew. Important figures who attended the mass that is visible in the medal are Magellan (middle), Rajah Colambu (Left), Rajah Siagu (Right), Antonio Figafetta (back). Magellan's Cross and his lead ship Trinidad are also visible.
