F.A. Cup Centenary Medals 1872-1972.This particular Token/Medal celebrates the Winners of the 1972 Centenary FA Cup Final "Leeds United". It is part of a 30 token/medal collection celebrating all the previous winners of the FA Cup. This token/medal was a different size and composition to the other ones in the set.
This was the Folder to display all of the tokens/medals.
The rest of the 'Winners' tokens/medals to commemorate the first hundred years were issued by ESSO in 1972.
The front shows the Clubs Shield. The reverse has the name of the club(s) they defeated and the year(s) played.
There are two known errors:
One with Aston Villa crest on front with Newcastle United cup wins on reverse.
One with Tottenham Hotspur crest on front with Everton cup wins on reverse.
