The Courtyard of the Lions (Arabic: بهو السباع) is the main courtyard of the Palace of the Lions, in the heart of the Alhambra. It was commissioned by Sultan Muhammad V of the Nasrid kingdom of Granada in the second period of his reign (1362-1391). Construction began in 1377 and was completed thirteen years later. His image appears on Spain's commemorative 2 euro coin (2011). https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patio_de_los_Leones
