Representation of a silver Double Taler of Ferdinand II (1578 - 1637) born in Gratz (capital of Styria, on the Mur in Austria) King of Bohemia (1617) of Hungary (1618) and Emperor (1619) minted in Wissembourg between 1623 and 1626. This Double Taler was minted in the 17th century in its own mint by the municipality of the time.Medal struck for the twentieth anniversary of the founding of the Cercle Numismatique de Wissembourg et Environs by Etablissements Gerner of Wolfisheim (67).
