Edge marked with unique five digit serial number "00836", assumed to be different on all of the medals.
This medal also has a bronze version and a 20K gold version along with the sterling silver version.
Apparently the medals were issued to players, coaches, and VIPs participating in the iconic 1972 Canada vs. USSR Summit Series, but this is unconfirmed.
