Comment
In 2010, Windsor Mint brought out a twelve-coin series commemorating British banknote designs. Each comes with a certificate of authenticity, with the front and back pages identical (apart from the issue number) and bearing the logo of the Bayerisches Münzkontor below this number. The inside pages provide technical information about the coin and the history about the specific banknote each coin commemorates. This coin shows the £50 banknote issued in 2009, with a unique double portrait on the reverse of engineers and inventors Matthew Boulton and James Watt.
