I have seen the flower on coin refered to as a rose. Since Portrland been deemed the city of roses. It appears as a different flower such as a poppy. Another person stated it is a wild rose. It almost is except for the the fact there are two rows of peddels.hasThe image is of this rose is called by 3 different names in laymen's terms wild, prarie or Arkansas Rose. Unfortunatly the deisigner has passed since making this coin. Can't ask if that was the flower he was going for on the design. I am going to change the description to state wild rose in honor of Portland being called the city of roses.
