The engraver Gaspare Morone:
Medalist from Milan (died in Rome in 1669), nephew of Gaspare. He was an engraver at the mints of Mantua and Rome; he made medals for Innocent X, Alexander VII and Clement IX, and various coin dies.
He was probably born in Milan in 1603, from Girolamo, registered as a goldsmith in the same city from 1605 to 1612, and from Prudenzia Mola.
