The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Arabic: شركة بترول أبوظبي الوطنية‎) or ADNOC is the state-owned oil company of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). As of November 2019, the UAE holds the sixth-largest proven reserves of oil in the world at 105 billion barrels. Most of these reserves are located in Abu Dhabi. It is the world's 12th largest oil company by production, producing 3.1 million barrels per day, with plans to increase production capacity to 4 million bpd by the end of 2020. It is the UAE's largest oil company. ADNOC was Founded in 1971 and restructured in 1988.
