Thomas Müntzer (often spelled in French: Münzer ou Muntzer, or Munzer, or in Latin: Muncerus), born 1489 (or 1490) in Stolberg, died May 27, 1525 in Mühlhausen, was an Anabaptist preacher and one of the religious leaders of the Peasants' War in the Holy Roman Empire in the 16th century. He was a revolutionary leader and one of the great protagonists of the Reformation, particularly the Radical Reformation. (Source : www.wikipedia.org)
