This commemorative token was made in 1985 so that it celebrates the 150th anniversary of the famous Gabrovo School since it's establishement. It's made out of massive bronze and deeply plated with silver. It's a rare piece because it was minted in very small quantities by the former Politbiuro of Bulgarian Communist Party. Very few pieces remain, most dissapeared, which remains a mystery. Even the National museum of education in Gabrovo does not possess a piece.
