JOHANN FRIEDRICH BÖTTGER was a German alchemist , chemist and inventor . He was a co-inventor of European hard-paste porcelain . He transferred this invention to the production process and was the founding administrator of the Meissen Porcelain Manufactory .
He served an appertiship as a Pharmacist Starting at 14 years old in 1896. During his apprentiship he becme interested in Alchemy. At one point it was believe he turned silver into gold.
