Comment
The Medaille d'Honneur du Ministère du Travail et de la Prévoyance Sociale was created by decree on August 9, 1913. Originally, it was a single-level medal: the Silver Medal for 30 years' service. Then, with the decree of April 4, 1914, the Vermeil medal for 50 years' service.
Those working in Algeria or in a colonial territory benefited from a 10-year reduction in seniority.
This medal disappeared when the Medaille d'Honneur du Travail was created (decree of May 15, 1948).
