For this medal, Hénin distinguished no less than five different models with diameters ranging from 32 to 41 millimeters. The details of the medal's iconography are fascinating. France's mantle is fleurdelisé; above France, Truth or Fame opens the sky, illuminating the ceremony and revealing the lion of the zodiac sign that begins on July 22. The flag is adorned with a bona fide. A large crowd attends the ceremony, including the École Militaire, whose dome can be seen in the field on the left. The Fête de la Fédération, commemorating the first anniversary of the storming of the Bastille, had a considerable impact. It marked the union of Royalty and the Nation. The religious ceremony was led by Talleyrand, then bishop. Quite common in bronze, this medal is rare in silver (CGB).
