Clémence Isaure is a semi-legendary medieval figure, credited with founding or restoring the Jeux Floraux de Toulouse in the early 15th century through a bequest whereby the city of Toulouse would award gold and silver flowers to the best poets each year. (Wikipedia).
In 1817, one of the winners was fifteen-year-old Victor Hugo. This token may therefore be from this issue, as it has no hallmark. (CGB)
