MARDI GRAS IN 'OLD' MOBILE

Comment

Mardi Gras in Mobile, Alabama is the oldest Carnival celebration in the United States.
It was started by a Frenchman, Nicholas Langlois, in 1703.
This was 15 years before the city of New Orleans was established.
