Token from Nicolas Reitré and Marguerite Beffort's establishment on rue Nilles, renamed rue de Strasbourg in the 1920s. The couple had been running the Café since 1925, but the exact date when the Reitré-Beffort couple took over remains unknown. From December 1946, the establishment was managed by Fritz Schmitz, with the Reitré-Beffort couple remaining owners.

The café also had a party room. Numerous associations took up residence here, holding their meetings and organizing various events.
