Token from the Café de la Beggener Wichtelstuff, located at 163 Beggenerstrooss in Luxembourg.

Weiller-type token no. 46, issued by the intermediary firm Aloyse Nimax and minted between 1937 and 1972 at the Fisch & Co workshop in Brussels.

The establishment had a large number of different debiters between 1951 and 1979. R. Weiller places the issue of this token during this period, without being able to attribute it to a specific tobacconist. The change of telephone number, however, means that it can certainly be dated to before the 1960s. The Thievels-Schillinger couple, who ran the café from 1952 to 1954, published a dispatch in a daily newspaper in January 1954 stating that their token had lost its value on January 10, 1954. We can therefore assume that this is the present token, which would allow us to date it more accurately.

An establishment still exists there today.
