The plastic ALS token of the Kharkiv-Yuzhny railway station is the only known plastic ALS token. The principle of operation of this token is identical to the principle of operation of plastic metro tokens with luminescent properties. The technology of working with tokens of this type was developed in Kharkiv in 1992. Here is what is written in one of the patents on the principle of operation of this type of tokens: "It contains a scatterer as well as a luminescent substance and / or an absorber as coding elements. At the same time, the luminescent substance has a spectral luminescence range of 400-900 nm, the absorber's spectral absorption range is 600-1500 nm, and the polymer material and the diffuser are optically transparent in the spectral range of 400-900 nm. "
Some facts:
1. ALS tokens Kharksv began to produce in June 1993
