Commentary by CGB https://www.cgb.fr/flandre-francaise-ville-de-lille-tb,fjt_010936,a.html:In August 1667, Louis XIV was victorious in Lille. He made no changes to the city's privileges, and the States immediately had their arms engraved on the reverse of the sovereign's effigy. A very interesting bust.
