Louis de Bourbon, comte de Vermandois, born October 2, 1667 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye and died November 18, 1683 in Courtrai, was a legitimized French prince, son of King Louis XIV and his mistress Louise de La Vallière. He was also admiral of France from 1669 to his death (wikipedia).
