The term "Kieffer commandos" refers to the men of the 1st Battalion of Fusiliers Marins Commandos (1st BFMC) created in the spring of 1942 in Great Britain by the Free French and commanded by Lieutenant-Commander Philippe Kieffer. They were integrated in the British Special Service Brigade in the inter-allied commando number 10. Https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commandos_Kieffer_(France_libre)
