The Parc des Princes stadium, or simply the Parc des Princes, has been located since 1897 in the southwest of Paris, in the city's 16th arrondissement, near the commune of Boulogne-Billancourt, and in its current form on the Paris ring road since 1972. From then until 1998, it was France's largest stadium, and is currently France's fifth-largest, but still one of the oldest and best-known stadiums, if not the best-known, in the Paris region, along with the Stade de France (located further north in Saint-Denis).
