The National Gendarmerie Museum is a museum dedicated to the history of the French National Gendarmerie located in the city of Melun in France.Inaugurated in 1946, it has been expanded several times. Temporarily closed and completely refurbished from 2007 onwards as part of a protocol signed in 2005 between the Ministry of Defense, the Melun Val de Seine agglomeration community and the city of Melun, it finally reopened in 2015 in a building located in the immediate vicinity of the National Gendarmerie officers' school.
