The square is a rectangle 127 meters long and 90 meters wide.It is the convergence point of four streets and is surrounded by 27 pavilions obeying a strict architectural rule (ordered architecture).
Four bays, four arches, four windows on each floor, four dormer windows on the roof, originally consisting solely of alternating oeil-de-bœuf1 and two-window pediments.
