Built by Friedrich Krupp AG in 1943
- Length excluding buffers: 29.2 m
- Mass: 218 t
- Caliber: 283 mm
- Tube length: 21.5 m
- Range: 62 km
German railgun mounted on 6-axle bogies, 25 produced by Krupp between 1937 and 1943 and designated 28-cm-Kanone 5 (E).
Recovered as a war prize in Calais by the French Army. Previously kept at the Tarbes arsenal until 1991, then transferred to the Musée du Mur de l'Atlantique - Batterie Todt(www.batterietodt.com) in Audinghen (Pas-de-Calais).
Restored in the early 2010s. However, the registration Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR) 919219P and the nickname "Leopold" are erroneous, since the real "Leopold" cannon can be found in the United States, preserved by the U.S. Army Ordnance Training and Heritage Center at Fort Lee (Virginia).
