Tréhiguier lighthouse: built in 1881 and commissioned the following year, the Tréhiguier lighthouse was an alignment lighthouse which, along with the Scal lighthouse, served to indicate the way for navigators across the Vilaine. It ceased to operate in 1989, due to the construction of the Arzal dam, upstream from the river, which further silted up the estuary and displaced the shipping channel. Since 1995, it has housed the Maison de la Mytiliculture, a museum on the cultivation of bouchot mussels. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/P%C3%A9nestinCoat of arms:
