Built in Denmark in 1931, the Lydia was originally named Moonta. After sailing the Southern Ocean under the Australian flag until 1955, then the Mediterranean under the Greek flag, she was laid up in 1967. Today, she lies stranded on the beach of Le Barcarès, where she has served as a restaurant, discotheque and casino. Now owned by the town, it is currently being transformed. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lydia_(boat)
