This token is struck by Pichard Balme in Saumur, a subsidiary of Arthus Bertrand since its takeover in 1999.
The Landing Craft Assault, or LCA, was an English landing craft used to transport infantry during the Second World War. The smallest barge used by the Royal Navy1, it was nevertheless the main boat used by the Allied assault troops who landed on the Normandy beaches on June 6, 1944. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landing_Craft_Assault
