Comment
Jacques de Frasans, a lawyer, is the son of former mayor Jean de Frasans. He was elected mayor eight times:- twice consecutively in 1625 - 1626 and 1626 - 1627 ;
- three consecutive elections in 1631 - 1632, 1632 - 1633 and 1633 - 1634;
- twice consecutively in 1638 - 1639 and 1639 - 1640 ;
- for the eighth time on June 17, 1662.
He died in office on April 2, 1663, and was replaced for the remainder of his term by his son-in-law Bénigne Boulier.
The de Frasans family bears "Azure, a golden stag".
