The reverse of this token commemorates the engagement of Louis XIII to Anne of Austria on April 5-7, 1612, when the Place Royale (des Vosges) was inaugurated.Note that the initial letter between the two escutcheons is still an H, which means that the corner from the time of Henri IV is still in use.
