Louis-Charles de Bourbon was a French prince, born at Château de Sceaux on October 15, 1701 and died there on July 13, 1775. He was duc d'Aumale, duc du Maine, duc de Gisors, comte d'Eu, comte de Dreux, prince d'Anet and baron de Sceaux, and also the last prince of Dombes from 1755 to 1762, when the sovereignty was annexed to the Kingdom of France. Second son of the Duc du Maine, he was the grandson of French King Louis XIV (Wikipedia).
