Comment

As long as the prince of Condé had been prime minister, he had been, in a way, less thought of; but during his exile in Chantilly, the affection of Burgundy seemed to want to console him. The Chosen Ones had his arms engraved, and those of his wife Caroline of Hesse-Reinfeld, crowned and accompanied by the genius of the province whose cornucopia is inverted. ("L'amateur de Jetons" by Joseph de Fontenay)
